AICP Conference

30Oct11

Sacred Noise and Trollbäck + Co. helped AICP kick off the 2011 Conference with a digital installation featuring real-time footage of attendees as they enter The Times Center in New York. The attendee arrival footage was manipulated to appear as silhouetted figures trailing a CMYK array. The footage was then cut into manageable loops of video and arranged in a shifting grid; the more frenetic the movement on the looped footage, the more active the audio track, as tones and sounds created by Michael Montes are triggered to compose a soundtrack on the fly.

Chantix

25Sep11

Digitas and Sacred Noise have united once again for a new series of Chantix spots.

Here is Jeff’s story.

In this pair of new spots, the Mississippi Development Authority highlights Toyota’s new plant in Blue Springs, MS.

Music by Michael Montes.

Michael has released a new EP called The Earlier Time, a follow-up to his previous album Such Siren Worlds, and a continued exploration of melodic digital distortion, echo-textures, epic builds and dramatic dynamic shifts. This is the soundtrack for your epic dreams. Excellent in the car. Also great for high-brow pot smoking experiences.

Recorded and Mixed at Sacred Noise, Brooklyn, NY
Mastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering, Portland, Maine

TEDGlobal 2011

12Jul11

“During four days, with 50-plus speakers and performers from all over the world, in the energizing city of Edinburgh, we will look at who we are, what we do, and how we relate to each other and to other living organisms. We will analyze the resources, technologies and skills that make life possible and keep it going — and the many things that make it interesting, enjoyable and worthwhile. We will explore themes that are basic to our humanity, and those that threaten it.”

STILLforJAPAN

11Jul11

We were honored to participate in a very meaningful student conceived campaign called STILLforJAPAN launching Monday (July 11th) in Times Square at 1pm. STILLforJAPAN is a global initiative created to let the people of Japan know that the world has not forgotten their distress and suffering. On the four-month anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami disaster, people around the world will be asked to observe a “Moment of Stillness”. A few weeks after the campaign breaks in Times-Square the following 30 second commercial will begin to air in Japan with a message that states “The World Awaits Your Sunrise”. In addition, various TV networks from Japan will be capturing footage and conducting interviews with students involved in the project creating a short documentary of the events which will be shown throughout Japan.
